Did you say "Divorce" ? Where is the pool ?

When I hear someone talking about divorce, I always wonder if these people have a swimming pool in their garden or if they have a back view to large water feature, a lake or the see.

When we are lucky to have a garden where we can put a swimming pool, we might be stupid not to take advantage of it, especially when we live in a sunny and warm area. Actually, if we consider Feng Shui, nothing is less certain. In most case, it is strongly not recommended to have water in the garden.

In most cases, the garden and relaxing space are at the back of the house, if we consider the main door as the front side. In Feng Shui, the entrance is the Yang side, the Facing, and the opposite, it is the Sitting, the Yin side. The Yang side governes activity and wealth and the Yin side governs health houshold and relationships. Water in a Yin location brings conflicts and bad influences. In the Yin areas, we rather want mountains and stillness, not water. Water at the back means "household sinks into water".

Wether we want to benefit from a nice open view to the ocean or a big gaden with a pool, we are used to use the back yard, opposite to the front door. This side, the Sitting, should generally be supported by a mountain, such as the Black Tortoise, as according to the principle of the Four Heavenly Animals.
It is only auspicious to have water at the back in less than one case out of four. In these case, we also want a mountain in front of the Facing. We call it a reverse formation. Such a formation is very auspicious, if it is correctly activated and if the house design and layout fit its characteristics.
Such a formation is not frequent and is also limited in time. That is why in warm, sunny countries and areas, divorces are more frequent than in cold areas, because there are more pools in the gardens.

It is not always necessary to have a pool at the back to face bad influences. When water activate bad influences, such as a bad Ba Zhai palace or a bad Flying Star, even on a side of at the front the house, there are bad effects.
Divorce is not a social phenomenon, it is not a predestination. A pool in the wrong place, a main door or a bedroom with bad influences, a wrong bed or stove direction, a bathroom in the Yan Nian palace can bring relationship problems, conflicts, separations and loneliness.
With Feng Shui we can prevent from that from happening.
